One of highlights of our trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan was visiting Oswald’s Bear Ranch. The Oswald’s have been rescuing these animals for decades and it was wonderful to see how well they were treated. We were able to play with and feed a bear cub and she was noticeably clean and healthy (and happy). The keepers, mostly family, truly care about these bears as was clear by the way they treated them and loved on them.
It was also reasonably priced. Twenty dollars per carload and $3.00 for a small bag of apples which some of the bears would sit up for..
