The Hyde Street Pier is a historic ferry pier located on the waterfront of San Francisco, near Fisherman’s Wharf. Before the Golden Gate Bridge was opened it was used as the main car ferry between San Francisco and Sausalito and Berkely.
Today, the pier is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park. There were many historical ships here that could be toured, but we just strolled down the pier to get a glance at them.
Fisherman’s Wharf is great for shopping and dining, but not a whole lot of photo opportunities to hang on my walls, so I put these photos in a video. Plus it was an excuse to put the video of the sea lions in again…..
